Construction of our brand new Burnaby North Secondary is in progress. The new school, being built next to the old one, is expected to open for September 2022. It will house 1800 secondary students and there will also be space for child care, adult education, and language development programs. Demolition of the original structure and final landscaping is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2023.

A joint project with the City of Burnaby, plans include infrastructure upgrades for Kensington Avenue, Curtis Street and Hammarskjold Drive, adjacent to Burnaby North Secondary.
