One of the goals of the Burnaby Board of Education is to keep the community informed about district finances. The Board values the sup­port of the Burnaby community and we encourage you to get involved as we prepare the 2023/2024 operating budget.

The Board is committed to ensuring that the district’s educational programs and services continue to be maintained. Given the fiscal challenges of balancing the 2023/2024 budget, the Board will seek input from its stakeholders and members of the public on budget priorities.

The board will be meeting with and gathering information from employees, students, and partner groups. Members of the community are welcome to submit ideas and sugges­tions by email to budget@burnabyschools.ca, or in writing to the Board’s Finance Committee at 4054 Norfolk Street, Burnaby, BC, V5G 0C3. The deadline for submissions in writing is April 14, 2023.

There will be a special public budget meeting at 7:00pm on April 12, 2023 at the District Administration Office, 4054 Norfolk Street and via video conference.
