The Burnaby Board of Education is committed to ensuring that the community continues to be kept informed and consulted regarding Board decisions. The Board values the support of the Burnaby community and we encourage you to get involved as we prepare the 2019/2020 operating budget. The Board is also committed to ensuring that the district’s educational programs and services continue to be maintained. Given the fiscal challenges of balancing the 2019/2020 budget, the Board will seek input from its stakeholders and members of the public on budget priorities.

The  Board will be meeting with and gathering information from employees, students and partner groups. Members of the community are welcome to submit ideas and suggestions by email to budget@burnabyschools.ca or in writing to the Board’s Finance Committee at 5325 Kincaid Street, Burnaby, BC, V5G 1W2.  The deadline for submissions is Monday, April 15.

There will be a public budget meeting at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 10 in the district’s Administration Office, 5325 Kincaid Street.
