Have your say in the 2021-2022 Burnaby Schools budget
The Burnaby School District is inviting staff, students, parents and Burnaby community members to provide input as we develop the district’s 2021-2022 operating budget. We value the support of the Burnaby community and we encourage you to get involved. The budget process is a collaborative one that involves many stakeholders. The budget process normally occurs annually in April and concludes with the adoption of the budget for the upcoming year by the Board of Education. This year the process has been delayed from April to May.
There will be a special public budget meeting at 5:00 pm on Thursday, May 6 via ZOOM. If you would like to make a presentation at this meeting, please register with the office of the Secretary-Treasurer by phone at 604-296-6900, extension 661-004 or by email at email@example.com by 1:00 pm on May 5, 2021.
The Board will be meeting with and gathering information from employees, students and partner groups. Members of the community are welcome to submit ideas and suggestions by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or in writing to the Board’s Finance Committee at 5325 Kincaid Street, Burnaby, BC, V5G 1W2. The deadline for submissions is 1:00 pm on May 5, 2021.
