Registration opens on September 8 for the StrongStart BC Program in Burnaby Schools. For children who have not yet reached school age, this program offers a joyful first step into the Burnaby School District experience.
The StrongStart BC Program is:
- for children from birth to age 5 to attend with their parent or caregiver,
- run by qualified Early Childhood Educators who lead play-based learning,
- free for participants, with funding by the Ministry of Education and Child Care, and
- takes place on school property.
In Burnaby Schools, there are 12 StrongStart BC locations from which to choose. Registration is available throughout the school year and is not necessary if your child participated in the program last year.
