The Burnaby School District is actively investigating a cyber incident that came to our attention on Monday September 21. District staff are working diligently to contain the incident and restore normal operations as soon as possible.
This incident has impacted some of our systems and operations, including internal network services and phone lines. While these impacts are inconvenient, staff are working hard across Burnaby Schools to ensure there is no disruption to student learning.
Direct communications were shared with families, staff, and District partners earlier this week. We will provide further updates as our efforts progress.
