Optimist Speech Competition Day

Optimist Speech Competition Day, presented by the BC Provincial Outreach Program for Deaf and Hard of Hearing provides deaf students the opportunity to compete with each other for prizes and have the opportunity to interact with their peers throughout the day. The Optimist Club is a worldwide organization whose mandate is to “work each day to make the future brighter by bringing out the best in children, in their communities, and in themselves.” (http://optimist.org/). Winners from the competition will go on to compete at the regional level in Vancouver, Washington.
