Students from the Burnaby School District are finalists in five categories in a prestigious national music contest.
Children from Capitol Hill Elementary are finalists in three categories, with their peers at Second Street Community School and University Highlands Elementary also honoured as finalists for their incredible performances.
Hundreds of teachers and thousands of students from across the country submitted entries in CBC’s Canadian Music Class Challenge after learning, performing and recording a Canadian song.
Winners, chosen from the finalists, will be announced on December 16.
