A contract is considered active once a booking confirmation is issued by the Facility Rentals office. This confirmation represents our formal agreement to reserve the space, and from that point forward, all District policies are in effect. Any changes, including spaces and timing of events, are subject to a non-refundable $25 administrative fee for each amendment.
Requests for changes must be submitted in writing to Facility Rentals 14 days prior to the date of the event.
Cancellations
A contract is considered active once a booking confirmation is issued by the Facility Rentals office. This confirmation represents our formal agreement to reserve the space, and from that point forward, all District policies are in effect. Any cancellations are subject to a non-refundable $25 administrative fee for each space and occurrence affected. This would include a reduction in the time booked for an event.
Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing to Facility Rentals 14 days prior to the booking for a rentals credit (minus applicable fees) to be issued. Credit will not be provided for cancellations within 14 days. Credits do not expire and can be applied to future bookings at any Burnaby School District rentals site.
Should the School District need to cancel a rental period, a refund will be provided at the end of the rental period.
