The ‘Song for Courage’ was originally written for grade 7 Indigenous students transitioning into a bigger world. Elder Latash Nahanee from the Squamish Nation acknowledged the beauty of the song and shared that students are always in times of transition. Since, we have shared the “Song for Courage” to recognize Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth throughout the Burnaby School District for their strength and courage.<\/p>\n
