Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story

Jen Rustemeyer is a Leo Award-winning documentary producer with Peg Leg Films in Vancouver. In 2010 she produced and was a subject in the documentary ‘The Clean Bin Project’ about a year-long competition to live zero waste. Her most recent film and the subject of this dialogue is, ‘Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story’. Jen’s interest in the subject started when she did a waste audit at a school. This an opportunity for students and community members to watch the film, ask Jen questions and explore food waste issues in Burnaby. This is the first of several Burnaby Food First dialogues on how we can increase our food security here in Burnaby, and beyond.
