MLA Richard T Lee on behalf of Education Minister Mike Bernier announced recently that a $3.9 million expansion of University Highlands Elementary will address the growing need for an additional 195 student spaces plus childcare as the UniverCity community grows. The partners that shared the District’s vision to address this upcoming need and provided funding for the project include The Province of BC, Simon Fraser University (SFU) Childcare Society and SFU Community Trust.
