Lakeview Elementary Teacher Nancy Sinclair with Superintendent Gina Niccoli-Moen at the Premier’s Awards of Excellence Ceremony
One of our own was chosen as a finalist for the Premier’s Award for Excellence in Education. Nancy Sinclair was one of three teachers shortlisted in her category honouring the efforts of those who go above and beyond to make life better for students in BC. The Lakeview Elementary grade 3/4 teacher does just that and she’s been doing it for more than 30 years. At this point in time, this includes coaching the intermediate cross country team; running extracurricular activities like primary skipping, stitchery and knitting clubs; and overseeing the recycling club in efforts to raise funds for camps and field trips.
Nancy Sinclair was acknowledged at the Premier’s Awards of Excellence ceremony held in Victoria on October 5, 2018.
